In addition to containing a laxative and electrolytes, TriLyte
® (
polyethylene glycol electrolyte solution) comes with orange, citrus-berry, lemon-lime, cherry, and pineapple flavor packets. TriLyte comes as a powder that is mixed with water. The solution is drunk in eight-ounce portions until bowel movements are watery and clear.
Do not add any other ingredients to TriLyte, including flavorings or other liquids or beverages. If you wish to add flavor, use one of the provided flavor packs, and be sure to add it to the powder before adding the water. Throw away the packets you do not use.
