TriLyte® (polyethylene glycol electrolyte solution) comes in the form of a powder that is meant to be mixed in water. To improve the taste of the medicine, flavor packets are also included. These packets are available in the following flavors:
- Orange
- Citrus-berry
- Lemon-lime
- Pineapple.
In clinical studies, the most commonly reported side effects of TriLyte with flavor packets included:
- Nausea
- A feeling of abdominal (stomach) fullness
- Stomach bloating
- Vomiting
- Anal irritation.
