Drug Interactions With Telbivudine

A few drugs may cause negative interactions when combined with telbivudine. For example, problems may occur if this hepatitis B medication is taken with statin medications, fibrates, or interferon medications. Some of these combinations may increase your risk for dangerous problems with your nerves or muscles. Make sure your healthcare provider has a current list of medications and supplements you are taking.
