Tegaserod Storage Methods

Tegaserod should be stored at room temperature away from moisture or heat. Tegaserod tablets should be kept in an airtight container.
 
Keep tegaserod and all medications out of the reach of children.
 

Tegaserod: What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your tegaserod as scheduled, take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose of tegaserod.
 

Tegaserod: Strengths

Tegaserod tablets are available in two strengths:
 
  • Tegaserod 2 mg
  • Tegaserod 6 mg.
     
There is currently no over-the-counter tegaserod available.
 

Tegaserod: Generic

There is currently no generic tegaserod licensed for sale.
