For treating a stomach ulcer, the dose of ranitidine healthcare providers often recommend is 150 mg twice daily. After the ulcer has healed, the dose to prevent ulcers from returning is typically ranitidine 150 mg once daily at bedtime.
Ranitidine Dosing for GERD
The recommended dosage of ranitidine for gastroesophageal reflux disease (
GERD) is usually ranitidine 150 mg twice daily.
Ranitidine Dosing for Erosive Esophagitis
The dose of ranitidine for treating erosive esophagitis is ranitidine 150 mg four times a day. Once healed, the dose for preventing it from returning is ranitidine 150 mg twice daily.
