What If I Take an Overdose of Prepopik?

As with any medication, it is possible to take too much Prepopik. Seek immediate medical attention if you may have overdosed on this medication. An overdose is unlikely, however, as only enough for the two doses is usually provided.
(Click Prepopik Overdose for more information.)

How Should This Medicine Be Stored?

Prepopik should be stored in its original packet at room temperature until mixed. Mix it right before use; do not mix it ahead of time and refrigerate it as is often recommended with other bowel-prep medications. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you forget to take one of your Prepopik doses, take it as soon as you remember and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at the same time. If you forget to use Prepopik before your procedure, tell your healthcare provider. Your procedure may need to be rescheduled.
