MoviPrep Drug Interactions

Final Thoughts

It is possible that not all interactions with MoviPrep were discussed in this article. Therefore, you should talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about specific interactions that may apply to you.

Also, keep in mind that certain medications should not be taken in the days before, or the morning of, a colonoscopy. Some medications may even need to be stopped a week prior to your procedure. Make sure to ask your healthcare provider about which medications you can continue taking and which ones you should avoid taking in the days leading up to your procedure.

Finally, it is a good idea to make sure your healthcare provider has a complete list of all your medications. Therefore, you should always tell all of your healthcare providers about every medication you are taking (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, vitamins, and supplements), even if you believe they will not interact with other medications.
