Misoprostol Tablets

Available in the form of tablets, misoprostol (Cytotec®) is taken four times daily by people who are also taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The prescription medication is specifically designed for people who are taking NSAIDs and are at risk for developing stomach ulcers or have had an ulcer in the past.
