MiraLAX 17 Grams Daily
There is only one standard recommended dose of MiraLAX® (polyethylene glycol 3350) for treating occasional constipation -- 17 grams (about one heaping tablespoon) of powder dissolved in four to eight ounces of liquid and swallowed once daily. MiraLAX powder can be mixed with any cold, hot, or room-temperature beverage, such as water, juice, coffee, or tea.
Using 17 grams of MiraLAX daily will typically cause a bowel movement within four days. However, do not use this laxative for more than seven days unless your healthcare provider specifically tells you to do so.
