Were you looking for more information about MiraLAX? Meralax is a common misspelling of MiraLAX.

MiraLAX® (polyethylene glycol 3350) is a medication approved to treat occasional constipation. Although it was originally available by prescription only, MiraLAX is now available over-the-counter (OTC) -- that is, without a prescription.

This laxative works by drawing water into the colon, which helps to soften the stool and increase the number of bowel movements. MiraLAX comes in the form of a powder that is dissolved in a beverage and swallowed once daily. Potential side effects include gas, nausea, and diarrhea.
