Side Effects of Lubiprostone

Common side effects of lubiprostone include nausea, diarrhea, and headaches. Although most people have no problems with the drug, it can cause serious side effects that require prompt medical attention.     • Unexplained swelling of the lips or mouth
    • Wheezing or difficulty breathing
    • Difficulty swallowing.
