Drug Interactions With Lubiprostone

Lubiprostone (Amitiza®) does not have any known drug interactions. However, you should always tell your healthcare provider about any other medications you are taking (including prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs, and vitamins or supplements). Even though no drug interactions with lubiprostone are currently known, it is important to understand that this medication has not been tested with all other medications. Therefore, drug interactions may be discovered in the future.
As a general rule, it is a good idea to talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider about the possible drug interactions that may apply to you anytime you start or stop a medication.
