While many people go on to recover fully from this surgery, some people have a harder time getting back to full speed. Your healthcare providers want your recovery to go smoothly, so be sure to let them know if you start to have problems, or notice that something doesn't feel right.
If you experience long-lasting:
* Pain
* Nausea
* Vomiting
* Or diarrhea,
Or notice
* A change in your health or eating habits
* A fever
* Any new or unusual symptoms or side effects
* Or any side effects that won't go away
call your healthcare provider immediately. You may need to return to the hospital for further treatment.
Most complications can be treated, but this can only happen if you let your healthcare provider know that something is wrong. Good communication is the key.
