Linaclotide Side Effects

Some of the more common side effects seen with linaclotide include headaches, gas, and bloating. However, research has shown that most people who use linaclotide tolerate it well, and if problems do occur, they are generally minor and easy to treat. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you develop severe diarrhea, an unexplained rash, or difficulty breathing while taking linaclotide.

If side effects do occur, in many cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
