Diagnosing Hirschsprung's Disease With a Biopsy

Biopsy is the most accurate test for Hirschsprung's disease. The doctor removes and looks at a tiny piece of the intestine under a microscope. If the nerve cells are missing, Hirschsprung's disease is diagnosed.
