Dyrenium Drug Interactions
Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs
Combining Dyrenium with NSAIDs can make Dyrenium less effective and may increase your risk of side effects. Your healthcare provider may need to increase your dose of Dyrenium or suggest an alternative to NSAIDs to prevent this interaction from occurring.
In general, products containing potassium should not be used with Dyrenium, due to the risk of high potassium levels (hyperkalemia).
Dyrenium should not be taken with spironolactone. Combining these two medications increases your risk of developing high potassium levels (hyperkalemia).
