Diverticulous
Were you looking for information about Diverticulosis? Diverticulous is a common misspelling of diverticulosis.
Approximately 10 percent of Americans over the age of 40 are affected by a condition known as diverticulosis. This condition occurs when small pouches (diverticula) form in weak spots in the colon. The condition becomes more common as people age; about half of all people over the age of 60 have diverticulosis. In most cases, people with diverticulosis will not experience any symptoms or discomfort, and the only treatment needed is a high-fiber diet.
