Budesonide EC

Budesonide EC is used to help treat the symptoms of Crohn's disease. The drug is a type of steroid that works by decreasing inflammation in the intestines. The medication comes in the form of a capsule that is typically taken once a day in the morning. Side Effects of Budesonide

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with budesonide EC. However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.

Common side effects of budesonide EC include, but are not limited to:

Headaches
Respiratory infections (such as the flu or pneumonia)
Nausea.
